I have a maintenance request/concern, who do I contact?

You can send your request online by visiting our Forms section on our website or email maintenance@forthrightproperties.ca to have your maintenance concerns addressed.

I want to add a roommate, what do I do?

Any person 18 years or older who will be moving into your suite must fill out an application form, available online under our Forms section or at our office in order to be on the lease. The applicant would be subject to the same review as any other applicant including confirmation of rental history, employment/income and credit checks.

I understand your properties are pet friendly, does this include all pets?

Our pet policy allows for our tenants to have cats with a pet deposit that is equal to half the first months' rent payable at the time of lease signing. We do not allow dogs of any type or size.

You have a no smoking policy. Where am I allowed to smoke?

The no smoking policy includes the suite and all common areas of the building. You may smoke on your own balcony. See our "Smoking Waiver" policy for more details.

Am I allowed to barbecue on my balcony/patio?

We do allow propane barbeques.

My question has not been answered here, who should I contact?

How do I set up a showing?

You can contact our Leasing Staff to set up a date and time that works for you. You can call or text 204.960.7550, or email leasing@forthrightproperties.ca

How do I go about applying?

You can fill out our online application in the Forms section on this website which will submit electronically to our office. We can also provide you with a hard copy upon request. Please fill out the application in full and execute it at the bottom of the page. We require the security deposit, equal to half of the first months' rent, in order to process the application. You can e-Transfer the security deposit, or transfer it via online banking (we're a payee with all major banking institutions), or contact our Leasing Staff to arrange for pick-up.

How long does it take to find out if I am approved?

Our goal is to review and respond to all applicants within 1 business day.

What happens after I am approved?

Our leasing agent will be in touch with you to book a date and time to arrange a lease signing. We require lease documents to be signed within 48 hours of approval.

When can I make my move-in arrangements?

Our leasing staff will be in touch with you after your lease signing to make all necessary arrangements. Normally 1 week before the intended date, whenever possible.
